Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I’ve been working on stuff, been shifting gears a little. This is plaster skinned with paper mache. Pretty happy with how it turned out..

PVC armature, plaster and foamcore base. Usually use pvc joints/cement, but this time I went quick and dirty with hot glue and duct tape. The sculpture won’t be too heavy,so I’m not worried about support issues, cracking….

One of my drawings would make a good sculpture. It’s going to be 4 feet tall. Started the armature tonight….
New Waves 2012
Just found out my drawing happy dog, sad dog was accepted into the upcoming New Waves 2012 Juried Show at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art!
